The variety of the shells’ shapes were my source of inspiration for creating FRUTAPARAS. When I had a tapara in my hand, I said to myself: “This is an avocado, this is a watermelon, and this is a papaya”. I started painting the shells to decorate our home. Anyway, I paint, therefore I am.
As the years go by and new stages of my life arrive, FRUTAPARAS has been my first chance to share my artistic gift with a great deal of people. It was what lead it from being art for us to being art for all.
