I was born with the
spirituality of see in the nature forms and figures that were allowing
me to recreate my mind across the meeting in the peoples of histories
and epics life experiences, that allowed me to be creating moulded clay
and carved wood sculptures figures of prominent figures and known
environments that have some time existed, I began my handcrafted labor
twelve years ago finding in places like Loma del muerto (dead man´s hill)
in the Hatillo village and the Unare's lagoon the refreshing clay for my
work as well as the different chunks of wood to revitalize my histories.
JOSÉ DELFÍN
"My
studies are focus on finding the colors, vivacious
colors that make alike the reality"
My artistic
mission has been recognized in different galleries as the Museum
Bárbaro Rivas, Petare's Colonial Zone of the Miranda State, then
for the Oleo y Temple Gallery, Historical Museum of Clarines and
the Gallery of Art of the Seniat Guanta Puerto La Cruz, this
last ones of de Azoategui State
The
color is life, is childhood,
adolescence, maturity and oldness, I
have centred all my life in the
color because I think that it is a
feeling and for it through the most
intense acrylic shaped in the wood
and the mud i have found this
purpose.
Without feeling there is no color,
my works are loaded with color, that
is to say, of feelings, so that way
my more emotive sensations should
touch the soul.
Only the way
knows the destiny that the color must have in my piece, my
passion is the anteroom of his creation and my love is the
essence of being able to mature and be born. Jose Delfín
