Over 12
years
ago, Geraldine Hernandez and Victor Lugo joined forces to
create a design and creation studio shop, with the purpose
of
making practical and art pieces of glass and other
materials,
which in some way could awaken the viewers or users'
sensations. |

At the shop, art pieces of great and small format
are
conceptualized, designed and made as gifts given at conventions
and
corporative events; murals, sculptures, building presenters,
houses,
commercial centers, offices and leased spaces; interior and
exterior
signs. Elements of interior design such as lamps, mirrors,
wind
chimes, room dividers, and special doors; artistic furniture;
pieces
and practical elements for offices and homes.

We live in
a
world where science and technology have occupied most of
our
attention, that technological universe embraces and
submerges
us in advances that fills us with awe. however, we
often
forget of that great laboratory that exists around us,
that is
present, before us but we cannot perceive it:
"Mother Nature",
that wonder of creation which gives us life, it protects
us,
and provides us with everything we need and more. |

As a
tribute in
Her honor, we take some of her shapes, textures, colors,
elements of force, subtlety, sensations and spirit as a
base.
Providing materials such as glass, wood, metals, rocks,
earth,
etc and applying design knowledge we try to
artistically
represent a minimum part of its legacy. And through
a visual
form awaken the sensations and effects, the love,
appreciation,
respect, and sentiments toward Her, who is ultimately
the
biggest heir to our
children. |
